



SOUTH ASIAN INTERNATIONAL BACCALAUREATE SCHOOLS ASSOCIATION

SAIBSA is the acronym for the South Asia International Baccalaureate Schools Association. This site is devoted to promoting a greater understanding of the IB at all levels. SAIBSA members are authorized or implementing schools and its education practitioners. SAIBSA aims to facilitate communication with authorized and implementing IB schools in the South Asia region .
Currently the activities of the association are :
The SAIBSA Job Alike session for MYP teachers was hosted by Ecole Mondiale World School, Mumbai on the April 21st 2012. About 130 MYP teachers from 16 schools across India attended the 18 subject area sessions. Participants were welcomed by student and staff volunteers and began by interacting at an informal coffee session.........................................Contd.
SAIBSA DP Job Alike Session was held at Podar International School on February 11, 2012. It started at 8.15 am and went on till 5.15 pm. 340 representatives from 36 schools all over India participated in all. The Welcome Address was given by the Head of Podar International School, Dr. Ms. Vandana Lulla. She greeted the august gathering and felicitated the President of SAIBSA Mr. Kaisar Dopaishi and all the facilitators.The Plenary Session was conducted by Ms. Gillian Ashworth, Head of Secondary, Ecole Mondiale World School based on the theme: ‘Inquiry based learning and IBDP, friends or foes?’ . ..........................................Contd
